EV Overview
Profile of fleet electrification
The tool Profile of fleet electrification, also called EV Profile, is a dashboard that makes it possible to see data on the vehicles on the road in Quebec for each engine type, whether electric or something else.
3 OBJECTIVES :
- Allow stakeholders in our ecosystem and decision-makers to be aware of the state of progress of vehicle electrification in Quebec.
- Allow vehicle manufacturers from here and elsewhere to assess the potential market of EV development in Quebec.
- Respond to issues related to misconceptions of the profile of commercial and institutional fleets.
The tool consists of 2 tables (historical and current), each containing very clear explanations.
Observing the evolution of electrification over time
HISTORICAL REPORT
This table provide information on growth, by year, of different vehicle types (heavy trucks, cars, school buses, etc.) and different engine types (electric, gas, etc.)
For an optimal consultation:
- It is very important to always click ERASE (top left of tables) between each search to avoid manipulation errors.
- For an optimal display, we suggest that you consult the tool on your computer rather than on your mobile.
- Each report contains several tables, use the arrows at the bottom of the reports to view all tables.
Vehicle electrification situation in Quebec
CURRENT REPORT
- Data can be filtered based on several criteria, such as region, engine type, weight category, etc.
- An overview of the 2 tables also allows you to see the progression of government objectives related to vehicle electrification.
Annual Report
The annual report as of December 31, 2022, presenting statistics and results for the year 2022 on the progress of electrification of transportation in Quebec, is now available, thanks to this dashboard.
