It’s the starting point for obtaining a clear picture of the situation, setting realistic objectives and establishing a roadmap to reach them. This is precisely how an energy analysis can help you discover the full energy efficiency potential of your facilities.
You lack the expertise you need within your company to carry out an energy analysis? Why not hire a specialized firm? Or help to train the next generation in the field by offering an internship? With the Energy Analysis component of the Efficient Solutions Program, you can:
- Receive up to $50,000 to cover the costs related to determining a diagnosis.
- Target measures that will help you reduce your costs and your electricity use.
- Receive support from Hydro-Québec experts throughout the entire process.
Hydro-Québec provides you with the help you need to take this important step.
OSE calculation tool
With the OSE calculation tool, you can quickly calculate how much financial assistance you could receive to carry out your energy efficiency project. Choose from more than 200 predetermined measures related to, for instance, electromechanical systems, heat recovery, insulation or cooling.
The tool helps you:
- Check whether the equipment and/or the work included in your project is eligible for financial assistance.
- Assess the amount of financial assistance you could receive.
- Submit your request for financial assistance, once the measures have been implemented.

Would you like to carry out a more complex project with measures that are not included in the OSE tool? Propose your project under the Customized Option of the Efficient Solutions Program. You could benefit from the following advantages:
- Financial assistance covering up to 75% of eligible costs.
