Montreal, January 20, 2023 — Propulsion Québec, the cluster for electric and intelligent transportation (TEI), celebrates its 5th anniversary! On January 17 and 19, the Propulsion Québec team took advantage of its event the Tournée des chantiers in Quebec City and Montreal respectively to bring together its members and celebrate 5 years of success!
5 years of innovation in mobility technologies
Propulsion Québec is honored to be able to support its members in their progress: autonomous vehicles and their components, electric cars and school buses, intelligent infrastructure, specialized electric vehicles, continuously improving charging stations, manufacturing of lithium-ion battery components and their recycling. Announcements related to sustainable mobility technologies have followed one another and have been increasingly impressive.
The territory of Quebec stands out thanks to its resources, expertise, know-how and climate, and since June 2022 has benefited from a roadmap, created by Propulsion Québec, that structures and plans the concrete actions to be implemented by the ecosystem’s actors:Ambition TEI 2030 !
Quebec is moving forward to become a leader in TEI and reap the economic benefits of this industry that works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

With unmatched conviction, the Propulsion Québec team and its Board of Directors have been working every day since the cluster’s creation to showcase our ecosystem as a flagship of Quebec. The actions initiated by the cluster have an impact on Quebec’s green economy. More than 250 people gathered and 2 ministers mobilized
This anniversary of Propulsion Québec brought together more than 250 people who were eager to celebrate this great adventure resolutely turned toward the future in Quebec City and Montreal! Ms. Guilbault, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, and Mr. Fitzgibbon, Minister of the Economy, Innovation and Energy, delivered video addresses at this event to underline the importance of Propulsion Québec’s role for its ecosystem and the work implemented in recent years.

About Propulsion Québec
Quebec’s cluster for electric and intelligent transportation brings together all actors of the sector around coordinated projects aimed at positioning Quebec among the leaders in the development and deployment of land transportation modes that favor electric and intelligent transport. Created in 2017, Propulsion Québec now has more than 260 members from various sectors and deploys its resources across seven distinct workstreams aimed at developing and supporting innovative projects. The cluster benefits from financial support from the Government of Quebec, the Government of Canada, the Montreal Metropolitan Community (CMM), ATTRIX, partner Geotab, the Desjardins Movement, Fasken, Hydro-Québec, Québécor, CDPQ, and the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.
