Quotes
“With all the province’s natural resources, hydroelectricity and transportation expertise, Quebec is positioning itself as a world leader in electric and intelligent land transportation. However, for 70% of our members, workforce issues are slowing their growth… TheRDV En route!aims to attract students and recent graduates, recent diploma holders, Quebec workers from other industries, and foreign workers from other industries and sectors to start a career in TEI. It is therefore with the support of various government partners, educational institutions and Quebec TEI companies that the cluster is focusing on attracting a pool of qualified talent from both Quebec and elsewhere! The RDV En route!is the perfect opportunity to discover the field, learn more about today’s career opportunities and thereby find an innovative job to help enable the transport of tomorrow!” shares Sarah Houde, President and CEO of Propulsion Québec.
“The labor market has undergone major changes since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The TEI sector is among those affected by workforce shortages. TheRDV En route!is therefore a great opportunity to become familiar with the training and recruitment offers of this growing sector. It is important to support initiatives of this kind, which help build a robust economy based on quality jobs,” emphasizes Mr. Jean Boulet, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister responsible for the Mauricie region.
