Several companies in the electric and intelligent transportation (EIT) sector hired employees and/or interns as part of the first edition of RDV En route, the career and training fair for the electric and intelligent transportation sector, organized virtually by Propulsion Québec on March 29 and 30, 2021. Here is the success story of Blue Solutions Canada.
Blue Solutions Canada, which designs, develops and markets complete battery storage and intelligent management solutions for electric vehicles and stationary applications, was one of the exhibiting companies with a virtual booth at RDV En route 2021. During this event, the Blue Solutions Canada team was put in contact with Evelyne Fournier-Sirois, a student at Polytechnique Montréal. With her academic background and interpersonal skills, Evelyne immediately became a real favorite with the company! She was hired as a Chemical Engineering Process Intern (Level 1 internship) at Blue Solutions Canada, where she was responsible for updating P&ID process diagrams, document updates, production data analysis, investigations and report writing.
"During my internship at Blue Solutions Canada, I had the chance to observe and concretely learn a process in operation in its entirety. I was able to put my knowledge into practice, and that in a stimulating work environment within a dynamic, warm team always ready to answer my questions," says Evelyne Fournier-Sirois.
Evelyne is currently continuing her studies in the Bachelor's program in Chemical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal and the entire team at Blue Solutions Canada thanks her for her valuable contribution and wishes her good luck as she continues her journey!
