Keolis Acquires 12 Electric School Buses

Keolis Canada recently announced that it has purchased a dozen fully electric type C school buses from The Lion Electric Co. The buses will ferry hundreds of students to and from schools in the Lanaudière region’s Des Affluents School District starting this winter.

The purchase is a testament to Keolis Canada’s exemplary leadership and vision in deploying new electric transport solutions in Quebec. Indeed, the company’s latest order will make Keolis Canada the largest operator of electric type C school buses in North America.

It’s also great news for The Electric Lion Co. and its some two hundred Quebec suppliers. Not to mention that having a fleet of electric type C school buses running in the Lanaudière region will provide the company with an excellent showcase for its electric buses right here in the province.

We hope Keolis Canada’s announcement and order will prompt other operators to do the same and choose affordable, sustainable transportation solutions built to stand the test of time.
