Portrait VE

The tool Vehicle Fleet Electrification Profile, also called the EV Portrait, is a dashboard that allows visualizing data on the vehicles in circulation in Quebec for each type of propulsion, whether it is electric or otherwise.

3 objectives :

1. Allow players in our ecosystem and decision-makers to become aware of the state of progress of the electrification of vehicles in Quebec ;
2. Allow vehicle manufacturers from here and elsewhere to assess the potential market for the development of EVs in Quebec ;
3. Address issues related to the lack of knowledge of the profile of commercial and institutional vehicle fleets.

The tool includes 2 tables (historical and current), containing very clear instructions for use.

HISTORICAL REPORT

This table allows you to view the growth, by year, according to different types of vehicles (heavy trucks, cars, school buses, etc.) and different types of propulsion (electric, gasoline, etc.)

• Each report contains several tables, use the arrows at the bottom of the reports to view all the tables.

• An overview of the 2 tables also allows you to see the progress in achieving government objectives related to vehicle electrification.

The annual report as of December 31, 2022, presenting the statistics and the results of 2022 on the progress of transport electrification in Quebec, is now available thanks to this dashboard.
