Volvo Group and Hydro-Québec: co-presenters of Impulsion 2025

INTERNATIONAL SUMMIT ON ELECTRIC AND SMART TRANSPORTATION
Montréal, February 17, 2025 — Propulsion Québec, the industrial cluster for electric and intelligent transportation, is back again this year with a new edition of Impulsion 2025, the must-attend event for electric and intelligent transportation in Canada, to be held on March 31 and April 1, 2025, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. This prestigious summit will welcome two major co-presenters: the Volvo Group and Hydro-Québec.
Volvo Group, through Volvo Trucks, Nova Bus, Mack Trucks and Prevost, is a world and local leader in the electrification of heavy-duty vehicles, buses and coaches – NovaBus already offers an electric bus and Prevost, as early as 2026, will offer a 100% electric coach to their customers – a strategic priority in Quebec. This partnership with Impulsion 2025 reflects the company’s commitment to transforming the transportation of goods and people, one of the priorities of this edition.
Volvo Trucks offers a complete range of electric trucks for regional transport and construction, providing Quebec businesses with sustainable, high-performance solutions. Mack Trucks, mainly active in North America, has developed the LR Electric, an electric truck designed to reduce emissions and noise pollution in urban environments.
The group’s companies are a perfect illustration of the alliance between innovation and sustainable development, two pillars at the heart of Impulsion 2025 discussions. By uniting forces and visions, the Volvo Group is helping to make the Summit a platform for building an electric future for Quebec and beyond.
