Montréal, March 14, 2023 -Propulsion Québec and Technum Québec, a digital technology innovation zone, announce the signing of a collaboration agreement aimed at optimizing the development of Québec innovations and a supply chain for the development of electric and intelligent vehicles.
Semiconductors and intelligent electronic systems are helping to accelerate the development of electric and intelligent vehicles in many ways. From safety functions such as blind spot monitoring and front radar, to advanced connectivity, real-time vehicle diagnostics, battery management and even the personalization of the in-vehicle experience, all these applications are made possible by microelectronics and intelligent electronic systems.

With an industry of over 700 companies and more than 45,000 jobs, the Quebec ecosystem of electronic and intelligent systems can provide services and equipment for the vast majority of companies operating under the Propulsion Québec banner.
Through this collaboration agreement, Propulsion Québec and Technum Québec will combine their efforts to raise the profile of these companies and enhance their development by promoting technology transfer and collaborations with academic, institutional and industrial partners.
Propulsion Québec and Technum Québec have signed this collaboration agreement to consult each other frequently and exchange information on various projects in the fields of electric and intelligent vehicle development and digital technologies in which they have a common interest.
When organizing actions or participating in national or international events, both organizations will make sure to disseminate information on Quebec expertise through presentations of the Quebec ecosystem, state-of-the-art infrastructures and the sharing of success stories and case studies. It is imperative to support Quebec companies so that they can play a strategic role in the global supply chain, and thus contribute to the creation of economic wealth for Quebec.
