Volvo Group and Hydro-Québec: co-presenters of Impulsion 2025

INTERNATIONAL SUMMIT ON ELECTRIC AND INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTS

Propulsion Québec, the industrial cluster for electric and intelligent transportation, returns this year with a new edition of Impulsion 2025, the must-attend event for electric and intelligent transportation in Canada, which will be held on March 31 and April 1, 2025 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. This prestigious summit will welcome two high-profile co-presenters: the Volvo Group and Hydro-Québec.

The Volvo Group, through Volvo Trucks, Nova Bus, Mack Trucks and Prevost, is a global and local leader in the electrification of heavy vehicles, buses and coaches – Nova Bus already offers an electric bus and Prevost, as of 2026, will offer a 100% electric coach to its customers – a strategic priority in Quebec. This partnership withImpulsion 2025 reflects its commitment to transforming the transport of goods and people, which is highlighted among the priorities of this edition.

Volvo Trucks offers a complete range of electric trucks suited to regional transport and construction, providing Quebec businesses with sustainable and high-performing solutions. Mack Trucks, primarily active in North America, has developed the LR Electric, an electric truck designed to reduce emissions and noise pollution in urban environments.

The group's companies perfectly demonstrate the alliance between innovation and sustainable development, two pillars at the heart of the discussions at Impulsion 2025. By joining forces and visions, the Volvo Group helps make the Summit a platform to build an electric future for Quebec and beyond.
