Propulsion Québec, the cluster for electric and intelligent transportation (EIT), has the mission to catalyze ecosystem actors around concerted projects aimed at positioning Quebec among the world leaders in the development and deployment of these modes of land transportation, for the benefit of Quebec’s economy and environment.
Monitoring and mobilization services
The defense and security (D&S) industrial sector is a booming sector that offers many business opportunities for Quebec manufacturers. Calls for tenders are underway and affect various areas of land transportation and represent potentially major industrial and technological benefits (RIT) for the EIT ecosystem.
Propulsion Québec proposes the implementation of a program that includes 2 distinct components aimed at the same objective: to position electric and intelligent transportation and Quebec companies in the Defense and Security markets. To do so, the completion of the following steps is essential:
- Integrate into the existing ecosystem and create relevant links to support the transition to a green economy, and thus position EIT in the D&S markets.
- Document and demonstrate the potential of EIT for the D&S markets.
- Strengthen resilience, improve competitiveness, and contribute to the growth of Quebec companies.
Nature of the mandate
Propulsion Québec wishes to avail itself of supplier services to support its management in a program of mobilization and positioning of electric and intelligent transportation within the Defense and Security (D&S) ecosystem in order to optimize benefits for the sector and the Quebec economy.
This program consists of 2 components:
- COMPONENT 1: Monitoring and sharing of strategic information
Development, implementation, maintenance and sharing of a monitoring system for strategic information and opportunities.
- COMPONENT 2: Representation and mobilization of the ecosystem
- Representation: creation of relevant links with contracting authorities and the entire ecosystem in order to measure interest in EIT, deepen the understanding of needs and explore promising avenues for the development of a support program.
- Mobilization: development of a promotion and awareness plan for the EIT supply chain for the D&S markets.
This project consists of 2 components. The bidder may choose to submit a bid for only one component or for both, and may choose to apply certain financial advantages for combining components. If the bidder submits a comprehensive offer, the submission must clearly define the proposals for each component.
Duration of the mandate
The project can be carried out continuously from the time of signing the agreement with the bidder(s)until March 31, 2023 (subject to acceptance of the request by the funder).
