Astus, with more than 25 years of expertise in vehicle telematics, has established itself today as a leading player in the energy and digital transition of mobility and transport. Last May, upon the announcement of the addition of a new independent Board of Directors and the arrival of Mr. Benoit Lacroix as President and Chief Executive Officer, Astus began deploying its growth strategy at full speed to position the company as a preferred partner and a provider of connectivity and data valorization services to fleets and manufacturers of heavy and light vehicles.

For his part, the new president, Mr. Benoit Lacroix, brings more than 15 years of experience in operations and data valorization as well as in the electrification of transportation. Before joining Astus, Benoit was deeply involved in the innovation process, in financing and in the strategic and commercial development activities of Effenco, a company he co-founded in 2006 and which is today a leading player in the electrification of heavy trucks. Benoit holds a PhD in engineering from the École de technologie supérieure (ETS). His thesis, moreover, focused on optimizing the energy efficiency of commercial vehicles using advanced data analysis techniques.
