Cégep of Saint-Jérôme

Description

The Cégep de Saint-Jérôme (CSTJ) stands out for its range of programs in the field of innovation. It is the first teaching institution in North America to offer a college program in Electric Vehicle Technology (AEC) and the only one in Canada to host the technique program in Composite Materials Processing and its school-factory. CSTJ students can also study through the Mechanical Engineering and Computer Technology programs, which have equipped themselves with a smart apartment for learning home automation. CSTJ's close collaboration with its two college centres for technology transfer (CCTTs), namely the Quebec Composite Development Centre (CDCQ) and the Innovative Vehicle Institute (IVI), offers the student community opportunities in research and knowledge sharing. The collaboration between CSTJ and IVI also allows companies in the field of electric and intelligent transportation to access specialized training and to product development support.
