Description
The Mechanical Engineering Technology program aims to train technicians capable of performing the technical design of various mechanical components and systems, planning their manufacture, and ensuring quality control. More specifically, students will develop skills in the following areas:
- the development of manufacturing process plans and the programming of numerically controlled machines;
- the design and manufacture of tooling, industrial piping, and mechanical systems including their frames and the production of prototypes;
- quality control and the planning of machinery maintenance;
- the organization and coordination of production work, technology monitoring, and research and development.
