Advisor – Digital Marketing

Job Summary

Member of the Communications team, under the Vice-Presidency, Member Services and Communications, the incumbent contributes directly to the promotion of Propulsion Québec's projects and initiatives. The role encompasses two dimensions: the development and optimization of the organization's digital marketing, and the management of project and program communications.

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Define and deploy digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational priorities
  • Act as internal reference and evolve digital practices, tools and approaches
  • Optimize platform and campaign performance
  • Develop a thorough understanding of members' needs, expectations and behaviors
  • Contribute to implementing initiatives that promote engagement and retention
  • Monitor performance indicators and formulate concrete recommendations

Project Communication

  • Assume a communication lead role for projects and programs
  • Develop communication plans and ensure their deployment
  • Produce clear, structured content tailored to different channels
  • Create simple visuals consistent with the brand image
  • Ensure quality, consistency and strategic alignment of communications
  • Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate external partners as needed
  • Ensure compliance with timelines and budgets, and achievement of objectives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, including significant digital marketing experience
  • Project management experience
  • Very good writing skills in French and good command of English
  • Ability to simplify and structure complex messages
  • Analytical mindset and results orientation
  • Experience in optimization, UX strategies and conversion
  • Autonomy, rigor and sense of priorities
  • Ability to influence and play an advisory role
  • Office Suite, Canva/Adobe suite, Zoho/CRM, SurveyMonkey/MailChimp, LinkedIn, performance analytics tools, project management software

Assets

  • Knowledge of and interest in energy transition issues
  • Experience in an economic development organization
  • Experience collaborating with agencies, freelancers or external suppliers
