Propulsion Québec and Mila, two organizations committed to the economic and social development of Quebec, are joining forces to accelerate the development and deployment of innovative mobility projects. This announcement was made as part of the large-scale Movin’On event.

This partnership, the first of its kind to be developed with an industry cluster, is another step toward consolidating the artificial intelligence (AI) industry and the electric and intelligent transportation ecosystem.

“This association is natural in the current context, characterized by mobility in constant transformation. Indeed, many consider that the future of mobility lies in connected, autonomous, shared and electric vehicles. Our areas of expertise therefore present many convergences in addition to feeding, influencing and complementing each other,” explains Sarah Houde, President and Chief Executive Officer of Propulsion Québec.

Through its mission, Mila seeks to contribute to social dialogue and to the development of applications that are beneficial to society. In this regard, mobility is more than ever part of that dialogue and innovation in this sector is fundamental, for environmental, economic and social reasons alike. The connections Propulsion Québec has with a range of mobility partners constitute a valuable opportunity to build more bridges between the AI research sector and the electric and intelligent transportation industry.

The two organizations are enthusiastic about working together, in a complementary way, to imagine and develop the best innovations to meet the needs and challenges of mobility now and in the future. The teams at Mila and Propulsion Québec have already begun defining the various projects they will advance together.
