Our industry already generates economic benefits for Quebec, but these will grow exponentially due to increased demand for products from our sector in the coming years. In 2021, 493 organizations, from small businesses to multinationals, were listed in the TEI sector in Quebec. The deployment of the electric and intelligent transport ecosystem presents an opportunity for Quebec to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, while also improving the competitiveness of Quebec businesses and stimulating a high-impact economic sector.

We believe Quebec has the means to position itself as a leader in electric and intelligent transportation: we have huge reserves of locally produced clean energy, some of the lowest energy rates in the world, significant deposits of strategic materials, a cutting-edge research environment, and climatic conditions favorable for experimentation. We are convinced that our province has the resources to continue to stand out in this strategic and economically important sector. Above all, we can rely on an ecosystem recognized beyond our borders to deliver economic, technological and environmental advances, to the great benefit of the citizens of Quebec.
