Despite the multitude of economic and environmental opportunities that EIT offers, our sector is unknown to many investors. Getting known to the right people, at the right time, in the right way — a puzzle that may seem insurmountable… but that proves accessible with the right keys!
Quebec currently possesses all the knowledge necessary to stand out in EIT and to become a global leader. At present, one of its greatest barriers to deployment is financing.
The 2023 edition of IMPULSION positions itself as an event that promotes networking as well as the discovery of business opportunities. The day of March 15 is entirely focused on different business models, financing and the acceleration of technologies that ensure the growth of EIT companies. This day is aimed both at organizations and companies wishing to raise capital and at investors looking to provide financing. It proves to be the perfect opportunity to learn more about financing thanks to the expertise of the speakers and then to have rich exchanges with them during networking periods.
Several investors from here and elsewhere will be present to learn more about our field and discover the opportunities linked to the EIT ecosystem. Important investors will be present such as Chris Thomas fromAssembly Ventures and Pierre-Franck Edwige of RATP Capital Innovation. From electric vehicles to charging systems, and also including data management software, every product or service will have the chance to get noticed there.
A workshop will be held that same day and will present the different steps to follow during a capital raise, regardless of your company's stage of growth. Topics covered will include: the value-creation milestone for companies based on dominant business models, understanding how investors analyze the main risks associated with the EIT sector, and putting together a winning financing application in the EIT sector.
