Montreal, June 16, 2020 — Propulsion Québec, the cluster for electric and intelligent transportation (EIT), is pleased to announce a new partnership with Merkur, a firm of experts in manufacturing performance and product development recognized for its expertise in land transportation. This renewable one-year partnership will enable Merkur to play a role in the electrification of transportation in Quebec and will allow Propulsion Québec to further align with the ground transportation supply chain.

Merkur — more than 25 years of projects with Quebec’s transportation industry

Merkur has been supporting companies in their development and growth through cutting-edge engineering, a performance-improvement approach, and a team of passionate multidisciplinary experts since 1994. The positions taken by the governments of Quebec and Canada in favor of transportation electrification bring new challenges for all organizations in this sector. As an Official Partner of Propulsion Québec, Merkur is therefore getting involved with the electric and intelligent transportation ecosystem to better support traditional companies in their electric and intelligent transition.

The firm of experts will remain close to the electric and intelligent transportation ecosystem in order to better understand its constantly evolving issues, particularly in terms of product engineering and the adaptation of manufacturing strategies.
