Description
By the end of the course, students will be able to safely defuse a hybrid system and take all the necessary steps prior to carrying out maintenance and repair work.
More specifically, they will be able to :
- Identify and describe the main components of parallel, series-parallel and starter-alternator hybrid systems;
- Explain the operating principle of the three main types of hybrid systems and relate them to cars on the market;
- Locate the high-voltage components of each type of hybrid system;
- Determining the potential hazard of high-voltage components ;
- Deactivate a system.
Prerequisites
Target clientele: Mechanics wishing to improve their skills (priority given to journeymen).
