Description
This training program aims to enable students to manufacture, install, connect, inspect and ensure the quality control of the wires and cables of electrical devices, the continuity of the electrical current, and to correct detected problems. Graduates will acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to interpret work procedures, drawings and manuals. They will be able to:
- operate computer equipment;
- apply workplace health and safety rules and handling techniques;
- perform soft soldering work, manual machining and mechanical assembly;
- form and integrate cable harnesses into an assembly;
- assemble and install system components;
- assemble printed circuit boards;
- perform maintenance on components of optical-photonic systems.
