Description
The program prepares students to become specialists in mathematical modeling, planning, and data collection and analysis. Participants will acquire fundamental knowledge in probability and statistics, become familiar with the methods, and learn to apply their expertise in different fields.
To achieve this, the program will provide participants with a solid foundational education that will focus notably on mathematics and computer science. In the field of statistics specifically, participants will learn the main models, methods, and techniques used in the many application areas of statistical analysis. They will study in depth, among other topics, probability, regression, statistical learning, analysis of variance, and sampling. The program aims to develop analytical thinking, stimulate curiosity, and enable participants to properly formulate and present a professional opinion.
