Hi-Power Solutions Inc. designs and builds the next generation of ultrafast chargers for electric vehicles in Montreal. Our mission is to supply ultrafast charging technology to accelerate the electrification of transportation that is creating high levels of greenhouse gases. This will also help reduce Canada\'s dependance on foreign fuel. Our patented technology offers an efficient interface with renewable energy such as solar, wind and batteries. This DC microgrid eliminates most of the usual losses from energy conversion. AI will also be used to monitor the whole system. This innovation will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases and help slow climate change.

Hydro-Québec generates, transmits and distributes electricity. It uses mainly renewable energies, particularly hydroelectricity. It also conducts research in energy-related fields and takes an active interest in energy efficiency. It also develops the technologies resulting from its research. Its sole shareholder is the Québec government. By law, the producer provides the distributor with an annual volume of heritage pool electricity, beyond which the distributor obtains supplies on the open market. Transmission and distribution activities are regulated. The company comprises four divisions: Hydro-Québec Production Hydro-Québec Production generates electricity and markets it on wholesale markets inside and outside Québec. Hydro-Québec TransÉnergie Hydro-Québec TransÉnergie operates the largest transmission system in North America for the benefit of its customers inside and outside Québec. Hydro-Québec Distribution Hydro-Québec Distribution provides Quebecers with a reliable supply of energy. In addition to the annual volume of heritage pool electricity supplied by Hydro-Québec Production, it obtains supplies on the market. It strives to ensure that its customers make efficient use of electricity. Hydro-Québec Équipement and Société d'énergie de la Baie James, a Hydro-Québec subsidiary, are the prime contractors for Hydro-Québec Production and Hydro-Québec TransÉnergie construction projects.
