Founded in 1873, Polytechnique Montréal is a university for engineers and is one of Canada’s leading centers for engineering education and research.
With more than 9,000 students, including 5,185 enrolled in engineering courses, 2,204 at the graduate level and 1,321 in certificate programs, Polytechnique is proud to be among the Canadian engineering universities with the highest proportion of women in the student body (28%).
Polytechnique Montréal has produced over 51,000 graduates and trained nearly a quarter of the current members of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
