Head of the Electric vehicle pole of expertise, CPCPA

Yves Racette, is responsible for the Pole of Expertise in Electric Vehicles at CPCPA (Provincial Council of Joint Committees), in collaboration with the Montreal School Service Center.

Teacher at the Montreal Motorized Equipment School (ÉMÉMM) since 2000 and technical trainer since 1995, Yves Racette is a certified specialist in hybrid and electric vehicles (HEVs). He is an accredited writer and trainer for the SAE International (society of Automotive Engineer) for their high voltage safety training.

A pioneer in electromobility, he helped train the first generation of teachers in this field in Quebec.

Trainer for two major automotive brands, he has also taught in many parts of the world, including the Middle East, North America, Africa and Asia.

Holder of a teaching certificate from the University of Sherbrooke (2001), he also holds an instructional designer certificate as well as a distance training manager certificate.

Over the past 20 years, Mr. Racette has designed and written several study programs, technical and non-technical, for numerous organizations.

He is the designer and principal writer of the new curriculum in hybrid and electric vehicle mechanics, leading to the attestation of vocational studies (AEP) of 645 hours.
