Development Manager, YHC Environnement

Johanne Ouellet has nearly 15 years of experience for YHC Environnement as Development Manager. She works closely with Quebec and Canadian municipalities on innovative projects. The SAUVéR concept and the HUB-SSé concept are just a few examples.

Since 2005, Ms. Ouellet has also worked on numerous projects concerning GHG inventories, energy and GHG energy action plans. She’s also actively working on Action-GHG, a monitoring tool for municipalities.

Johanne Ouellet has been actively involved in several committees of organizations associated with the environment and energy sectors. At RÉSEAU Environnement, she contributed to the organizing committee for the AMERICANA International Show, the Quebec Environmental Technologies Show (STEQ), and the Air and Climate Change Conference (ACC). She was Director of the Climate Change Adaptation Committee and was named Vice President of Air and Climate Change on the board of RÉSEAU Environnement, a position she held until recently.

From 2008 to 2012, working as an energy specialist for UMQ at the Quebec Energy Board she has developed an excellent knowledge of energy issues.
Excellent communicator, she is regularly called upon to present or animate conferences and forums. She was a political advisor for several ministers and MPs from 1990 to 2005 and she graduated from Laval University in Communication.
