Montreal, June 16, 2020 — Propulsion Québec, the Cluster for Electric and Smart Transportation (EST), is pleased to announce a new partnership with Merkur, a manufacturing performance and product development firm known for its expertise in ground transportation. This one-year renewable partnership will allow Merkur to be a stakeholder in transportation electrification in Quebec and enable Propulsion Québec to complete its alignment with the ground transportation supply chain.

Merkur, over 25 years of projects with the transportation industry in Quebec

Merkur has been supporting companies in their development and growth since 1994, with state-of-the-art engineering, a performance improvement approach, and a team of dedicated, multidisciplinary experts. The position of the Quebec and Canadian governments in favor of the electrification of transportation brings new challenges to all organizations in this sector. As an official partner of Propulsion Québec, Merkur will be involved in the electric and smart transportation ecosystem to better support traditional companies in their transition to electric and smart vehicles.

The firm of experts will remain as close as possible to the electric and smart transportation ecosystem to better understand its constantly evolving challenges, particularly in terms of product engineering and the tailoring of manufacturing strategies.
