We believe in the mission of Propulsion Québec, which through this event and others like it, wants to mobilize us to position Quebec among the world leaders in the development of intelligent and electric transport. This is a unique opportunity. Enjoy the event everyone!

About Us

Boivin Evolution is the first company to offer 100% electric automated collection bodies for the collection of residual materials. With more than 40 years of experience in the field of manufacturing innovative waste collection products, founder Claude Boivin, well known among major equipment manufacturers in North America, has resumed his activities under the brand name Boivin Evolution (BEV).

Electricity for Efficiency

BEV’s mission is to develop 100% electric collection vehicles, with the goal of lowering their environmental footprint, whether by reducing the use of fuel, reducing GHG emissions or eliminating hydraulic spills.

From Quebec to Texas

In November 2020, after almost 3 years of work, research and development, analyses and tests, Boivin Evolution delivered its first 100% electric collection body to North American giant Waste Connections in Texas. This was an important step for BEV, not only in the waste collection sector, but also from an environmental perspective.

The Environment Is at the Centre of BEV’s Priorities

Unlike a hydraulic collection body, which requires engine power to operate the automated arm and compaction, all functions of the fully electric BEV body are battery powered, resulting in 35-50% fuel savings compared to diesel trucks. When the collection body is mounted on an electric truck, the system consumes only 45-50 kWh for a full day’s work, and the overall weight is reduced to between 3,000 to 4,000 pounds. This great added value significantly increases the legal load that can be transported.
