The Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) has launched the “Talk Mobility” platform. With this new interactive platform, The ARTM invites the public to become actively involved in this first stage of public consultation which will lead to the development of the first Strategic development Plan (SDP) for public transit, paratransit and active transportation within the metropolitan area.

The Electric Circuit will deploy 1,600 fast charging stations in Quebec over 10 years

The Electric Circuit – Hydro-Québec‘s public charging station network – has announced that it is speeding up the commissioning of fast charging stations with the addition of a hundred new fast-charging stations this year. In the next ten years, 1,600 new rapid transit terminals will be created in Quebec thanks to investments by the federal government.

Carpooling: a real alternative to counteract traffic congestion

Ten municipalities to offer electric vehicle car sharing

Thanks to leadership by YHC Environnement and IVÉO, the SAUVéR project will be expanded to include ten additional municipalities!

This project makes the electric vehicles in participating municipalities’ fleets available to residents outside of working hours.

Residents of these ten communities will join those in the six Quebec municipalities that have been participating in the project since May 2017.

Project expansion was made possible thanks to $750,000 in funding from Infrastructure Canada through the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Municipalities for Climate Innovation Program.

Lithion Recycling is a young Quebec company that has developed a unique, effective, and profitable process for recycling lithium-ion batteries, currently the most widely used batteries in the electric vehicle and portable electronic device markets. Lithion Recycling’s process is designed to recover up to 95% of battery components and purify them for reuse by battery manufacturers. It is a concrete way to close the loop on the battery life cycle.

In conjunction with CES 2019, Lithion Recycling took home an award in the energy category of the “10 000 startups pour changer le monde” (10,000 startups to change the world) event organized by La Tribune and BNP Paribas in Las Vegas.
