DCS in Industrial Mechanics
General description
The Industrial Maintenance Technology program is designed to train technicians to work in all industrial sectors, including the transportation equipment sector.
By the end of the program, students will know how to:
- Verify that facilities and equipment comply with standards and plans
- Identify and analyze equipment operation issues
- Help design, manufacture, and optimize equipment
- Design and implement anticipated preventive maintenance plans
- Coordinate and monitor maintenance activities
- Coordinate and monitor maintenance activities
- Resolve a variety of equipment maintenance and performance issues
